When the going gets tough…

The tough roll their sleeves up and get to work. This post is meant to inspire a new work ethic in the world. Many people already have great work ethics so you can skim it over if that’s you. Do you get up early? Do you sleep late? How many hours a week do you work? Did you know children in Japan spend way more time doing homework and school than we do here in the U.S.? If you want to see a dramatic change in the world’s work ethic, start with yourself. Like a plague, it will inspire others and spread. The satisfaction of knowing you did a great job will allow you be more at ease.
Get out a pen and paper. You could also write this on your computer’s writing program. List your daily, weekly, monthly, yearly goals. Write out your resources. Write out your collaborations. Write a time into your schedule to read more. Eat healthier foods and drink 8 glasses of water a day. Some say don’t tell others your goals, some say do tell your friends/family/others about your goals. I’m going to leave that one up to you, but if you tell a friend, also tell them to hold you accountable to your chosen deadline with an offer of a free dinner or something like that if you don’t reach your goal in time.
Take notice of how you dress and your surroundings. Study a little Feng Shui to make your world have more flow. It could be a small thing like cleaning your desk minus a few items. It could be a redesigning of your home office. Whatever your goal, get it done and don’t miss out. I’m writing this with being a little under the weather so my goal today is to get back to health so I can start following these thoughts. Hiring a life coach can be a great help in this too. Click on the coaching tab if you are looking for one. Stay blessed.
